What do your regs say about ling fishing down there? is it open season all year? what kind of limits do you have? Are there any closures during spawning?

For WA, it depends upon the area. Outside waters, MA1-4, it's mid-April to mid-October. For the inside waters it's just a short season, May1-June15.

Allen,
I wonder if you might be able to generate more interest by listing all paid & registered participants on the leader board, even those sporting goose eggs (like me).

btw, I don't know if a final decision has been made, but my 2 pennies is that PS and his wherry should be grandfathered in...

Okay, I've updated the AOTY site.  Everyone who is paid up, regardless of points is now listed.

How many points did you give last year for halibut? Why dont you just add it to the sturgeon points? Im gonna cry now  :'(

Why don't we just do it now...I hate to see a grown man cry...

The only thing is, if i catch a 55 inch Sturgeon, i get 0 points because it is over the slot limit.

If you catch a Hali 55 inches you get 165 points.

How about a slot limit the same as Sturgeon for Hali's?

BTW, a 55 inch butt would be 82 pounds.  If we ever let butts in the AOTY, one that size would be worth all those points and more.

If you've already landed it (fish is under your immediate control), I see no reason why you can't have someone help you measure it.
