Decisions, decisions.

I was thinking to head to the south sound and target some early season chums, but haven't heard much in the way or reports.  But should we just make our own report?

Or Zuluo had to go and post about some chum fun at PNP.  Perhaps a shot at some late season silvers as well?  Any other spots still worthy of checking out for silvers?

Also still have this bug in the back of my head to hit the lower Snoho for sturgeon, but I got this fly fishing itch that needs scratching.  Although the sturgeon season is probably winding down on the Snoho and the chums will be available through November.

Anyone?

-Allen

Wish I could go out at all this week.  Forecast for Thurs/Fri (my days off).....Rain/Thunder/Wind.  Perhaps I'll get lucky and it'll clear up on Friday.  I'm itching to get the new seat on the X-Factor, and try out my new Paddle Shoes.

No Pisco, you shouldn't tell me.  You know I already know that.   :angry9:  I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could.

The PNP area could be a good spot... but we do need to get revenge at the Snoho for the skunking it gave us for the Everett derby. ::)

I think I may change to Sunday.  I'm thinking of hitting the Allyn area.  Saw a report of chums and silvers in the bay.  If things are slow we have the option of heading 15 miles south to Oakland Bay (15 miles), which usually has an early chum run into Johns Creek.  I think we have a better chance of finding protected water is these bays than other areas of the sound.

Oh ... some of the fish were reported up in the shallows, like 2-3 feet.  So if you have an option other than a full sinking shooting head, you may way to bring it.

Carpool is an option.  How long you want to stay out?

We might see you guys sunday.  We plan on launching saturday from union (weather permiting) more to test out the FF and stuff I have installed plus we are going to check and see if anything has come in to the tahuya river yet.  Then Sunday we will hit allyn or johns creek depending the weather,  I plan on calling verles in shelton today they usally have a pretty good idea where the fish are biting.  we will be chucking herring under a bobber or trolling.  3 weight I think last time we drove down to portland it took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to do it.   we live just north of shelton so its about the same to allyn as our place.    see ya out there
