Heading over to Timothy lake for a few days later this week. I've fished and crawdaded (not sure if that is a word!) from a powerboat, but this time I'm just taking the kayaks. Any advice is appreciated!

Good sunblock, extra beer and ice, and it seemed like the North end by the stream coming in was a real good area trout wise.  Fun place when its not too crowded.

A few weeks ago I did well on spinners and small spoons by the north end.  Also, make sure you are trolling whenever you are moving from place to place.  My largest trout came in the middle of the lake when heading over to the place I wanted to fish.

I believe the correct word is "crawdaddied."   :)  Hope you catch em up.

Thanks for the tips! Had a great time. Didn't spend a whole lot of time fishing, but when I did it was pretty good. Caught a 4 rainbows and 4 kokanee in the 2-3 hours I fished.  The kokanee where small, but they always are there. Did okay on  the crawdads. I set the traps close to camp because I wanted to keep an eye on them. I have had traps stolen in the past, but that is usually when I set them. I am sure we would have done better if we set them at the north end, but we had enough to go around each night.
