Hi,
At Barview camp ground on Tillamook Bay. Looking for yak fish info. Should I stay in the bay or is the mouth and jetties doable if wind and swell ok? Are the currents in the mouth wicked? Will I need to fish/yak with the tides? Any suggest on species to go after? Sounds like some silvers are moving in but are on outside. Anyone understand the current king and coho regs? How I read it is one wild king but no wild silvers?

I think it's 2 wild kings and no wild silvers right now.  Confirmation anyone?

Swell looks small.  You might try launching on the outside of the north jetty.  If the rip is working, you should be able to slip out right next to the jetty.
Should be some salmon around the mouth all the way north to 3 Arch Rocks.  Current between the jetties gets really strong.

Good Luck!

send post to Pelagic Paddler, he's local to the Bay, I think.

2 chinook, season closes Sept. 30 and 1 fin-clipped Coho...But Coho closes Tomorrow

Non-Selective(wild) coho season is from Sept. 1-10 or until quota(3000) is met, whichever comes first

Check the regs below, then check the ODFW site for current updates as seasons change a lot this time of year.
