Looking to buy a Malibu Mini-X kayak (at the best price of course) in gray (I want what I want, dang it!) but there's no one in a 100-mile radius who carries them.

Suggestions? - Besides traveling to Oceanside myself to pick up 15 of these little suckers and selling them here myself - tempting!

You'll get what you want.  I saw some Malibus on CL 2 weeks ago, so they are around.   If you decide to go to Oceanside lmk, I love to grab some used Hobie from that area, :)

Good Luck With Your Search.

Hopefully some day I get back into Kayak fishing, for now.  Gotta focus on Life.

Yes! Picked one up on Craigslist in Woodland for $250 with a seat and rooftop pads.

Ahhhhh... I feel so much better. Now I've gotta start stalking that Hobie Outback.

I started upgrading my Mini-X and found that some of the screws are actually 1/2" stainless steel wood screws!!! WHAAAA...!?! Had to replace those first before moving on to my Scotty fish mount (placed just beyond the center hatch in front of the cup-holder). I was hoping to put my Eagle fish finder tonight before heading out to try my luck at the White Salmon tomorrow but, eh! I'll get to it later. I'm still wary about sticking that transducer below deck and getting a reading through the hull. It didn't have much luck the last time I tried it and ended up connecting it to a piece of irrigation pipe and sticking it over the side of the kayak.

Maybe it'll work next time. Gotta check the "how to" threads again.
