Noah,
I may have forgot my net, but I am eating salmon for supper as I type this.  It was the one that didn't get away. Ha! ;D

Good writeup and thanks for having me along. Sorry no pictures as my camera got really wet trying to get a shot of Mark's fish in the drizzle. I did get two minutes of video from inside a Ziploc when I accidentally bumped the video button but that wouldn't add too much to the discussion. Interesting sounds of water lapping against the kayak, though.    I think I will  graduate from  Kayak Salmon Fishing 101 after this past month.

You go and block out the identity of the fisherman and the dang fish, but didn't block the fish nipples

    Spot,
You funny boy.............gotta love the block-age.Very family friendly. But at least you showed da fish.Nice........

I  can't say I've ever seen a "blackened" fish quite like that.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

The regs sit by the pot in my house, I read them all year long and still mess up sometimes here in WA state.  I've called the WDFW to have them clarify stuff.  Told the man on the other end I needed an attorney to help me with it.  He said, "You need a whole firm!."

I did a copy and paste from the Regs, printed it out and put it in my fishing vest this last weekend.  I knew that there were different regs i'd be fishing in the same day.....

Turns out the Chinook i caught would have bene legal to keep 200 yrds downstream..... but my spinner would not have been......

Congrats on the fun trip.
