Humminbird 570 DI Fishfinder- A Bust!

Thumbs up to Hummingbird. The fact that they sought you out says a lot about a company.

I'll second that.  That's customer service above and beyond.
I have only Eagles so you can be sure my remark is un-biased.

I've confirmed the issue with Humminbird.  They discover in August that some 570DI units had shipped with the with the simulator not properly working.  The issue was promptly resolved back in August, but there is inventory still left in the field.  It should not affect any other function.
