It's late and by the time you read this, it'll be after midnight or officially Turkey Day. I wanted to wish all of you, and yours a safe day at home, on the road or on the water. Also, should you over do it or grow tired of pumpkin pie, I'll be at the Chinook Landing Friday morning at 7:30 am and happy to accept donations.  ;D

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all our yakkin' buds.

Got my sturgeon rod today and tonight it's all rigged with 30" of Dacron 30 lb topshot plus two spares and two 6/0 leaders rigged and ready to load bait. Can't wait for Friday!!

         Here's hoping we all have a wonderful,warm,fullfilling Thanksgiving Day.

   I appreciate the generousity forum members here share with each other--with very little ragging or BS.This site can/has helped us all be better fishermen and has encouraged many friendships.I look forward to making many more.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May your plates and your sturgeon be oversized. Fishing after thanksgiving is one of the reasons I wanted the extra weight capacity of the outback :)

I thought that I would share how we cook a Turkey at the fire when on shift on T Day. Note the safety equipment in full use.
