Has some shit go down today, and had to do some upgrades.  We're not completely all back up yet, and may still go up and down over the next couple of days.

Allen, Glad you were able to recover from the attack yesterday as quickly as you did:)
When I tried to log on yesterday am, my windows security essentials immediately recognized a problem and prevented logging on.
Again, great, quick action!!

Some of you have been having problems with the test not wrapping when making a post.

The solution appears to be for users that have this problem to clear their browser cache.  I'm not sure why this is, but that's the advice SMF gives.  I did it and it works for me.

Dr Steelhead, you've referenced an attack (?) Was this caused at the server level and merely time for upgrades/maintenance or a virus from some low life?  :violent1:

We had a hacker get into the server and he set up a malicious redirect.

Is the recent attack part of the reason that member location is no longer shown next to their avatar ?
I thought it was kinda helpful to know if someone was near your own home town for hooking up on trips.  :(

Yeah, I need to re-enable that feature.  Hold on, should have it up in a few minutes.

Thanks  Allen. While I don't mind driving to an event ie. Willamette Dino 12/10, I do find it helpful to have a clue when making plans for a get-together.Appreciate your quick response.

Can you re-enable the unread posts link that was in the line with Home, Forums, Help, AOTY, Search, etc? I found this to be useful. I do not always get through all the posts in the "unread since last visit". Then the unread nature of those posts is lost.

Arrrggghhh .... I  wish I knew how.  I did something tricky to get that there long ago, but can't remember now.  I'll keep trying to figure it out.
