I was in Office Depot the other day and the Playsport was also $89.99, clearance sale price.  The manager said Kodak has discontinued the Playsport and he showed me the replacement camera which sells for $179.99.

Hmmm...I may have to pick up another one.  And maybe a pool noodle to make a float for it.  Thanks for the heads up.

I bought this one awhile back and now have two extra batteries along with a 16 gb SD card which gives me a total of 3hours for the 720p 60 mode.  Also, have this guy, http://www.usbfever.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=789., which makes a difference.  You can check out some of the clips on youtube.

That link doesn't go to one item, at least for me.

Has anyone used the Playfull? 69 bucks at Best Buy. It seems similar to the playsport but I think it only shoots in 720. Maybe this was what you were linking to ,

I read the review the guy posted at best buy and it wasn't very good.  However, the example he used was an indoor shot.  Indoors= low light= graininess with no flash.

At Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-PlayFull-Waterproof-Video-Camera/dp/B005G81E9M/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1324231484&sr=1-2-catcorr  it is cheaper and more people reviewed it giving it better marks overall.   I shoot all my video in 720 at 60 frames/second with my GoPro.  The video looks great on my 52 inch tv, so I think 720 would be fine. particularly if you are mainly viewing it on a computer. Just my 2 cents.
