Would using a rock in the middle of a river as an anchor point disqualify any fish caught from this point?  My anchor was sitting on it for a little while :P

I'd hate to lose points for something dumb when I could (and did later) just drop the anchor in the water next to it.

Nah...looks the same as any other rock in the river your anchor could snag on, just not quite as wet.

This AOTY is like a disease... I have no real interest in catching perch... but I am planning on a trip to a lake to do that this week... smh.  As an aside... my personal goal is/was to break 1000 this year and I may actually do it!

The suspense of Jammer's 169.47pt per fish average with only 9 fish entered is killing me!!!!!

Michael!  Catch #10 already!!!!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

My mini goals were to have six species by the end of summer and at least eight total. Did not quite make that but it aint over yet. My excuse is that I have not been getting out much. But then, there's 2013 to look forward to. It's still fun to check up on the standings. It looks like there are more participants and more high scores than prior years so it looks like it will only get more competitive in the future.

I understand the rules just fine, but still need a 10th fish. That's all I am saying by stand by. Bill you're the angler we need to worry about :)

I need three more fish and the next three weekends are booked with weddings and hunting. It is going to get interesting.

I caught my walking down the bass isle at Outdoor Emporium last week. I am going to have to try and figure that shit out.

In the mean time I need to try and make my kayak stay afloat.

Micheal I was just giving you a hard time. I know you know the rules.

BTW anyone else notice that Roy has been MIA since his two kings?

If Roy is MIA it's cuz he's probably fishing it hard and not having much luck. Which means he redoubles his efforts and doesnt come back on board until he has something to post. Or he's doing some work on his property

Thats been his pattern for the past 3 years in AOTY
