Does anyone want to head out tomorrow? I was thinking of hitting either Vernonia Pond since it is land locked and should be fishable or braving the Willamette. On Ifish there were a couple of successfu sturgeon reports.

If anyone is interested let me know either here or with a PM if you are heading somewhere secret and would not mind the company.

I went to happy hour at McCormick & Schmick's today and watched a steady flow of debris flushing down the Willy.  Be careful if you head out to the river.

+1 not a smart time to anchor a kayak on the willy, give the water time to settle and start dropping and you should find a decent bite, plus you're not pulling grass/leaves etc off your line every 10 minutes.

The river has already crested upstream and should crest here tonight. I figured most debris would be on the initial rise, but perhaps that is a mistake. Perhaps I will wait until Monday.

Did not get out today, daughter woke up in the middle of the night yakin' (not the good kind). Depending on how she is feeling tonight/tomorrow morning I may make an exploratory trip somewhere. In looking at Google maps the following waters look like they are not stream fed and might be fishable given the recent rains: Vernonia pond, Blue lake, Walter Wirth Lake, Walling pond. (I have never fished any of these). Possibly the coastal lakes are fishable as well.

If anyone has an opinion on anhy of these that they would like to share I am all ears. Please either reply to post or PM if you want to keep information quiet. Thanks in advance. Also, if anyone is interested in heading out I am tentatively (based upon daughter) heading out tomorrow.
