New Hobie TV show on Versus (NBC Sports and Outdoors)

Still not on the Comcast DVR schedule.

It looks like the west coast time slot for the show is going to be Thursday's at 8:30am on channel 32 or 732 for HD if you use digital comcast. If you use a different provider then Comcast, just search your provider for NBC sports channel(previously versus). It doesn't show up on this weeks schedule but does appear on schedule starting Jan 12.

oh, perfect, i don't have dvr or hd so unless i jake work, will only see this on weekend re runs

Just took a look at the first episode.  Very nice indeed and refreshing to see something other than that OceanKayak commercial, I mean the Kayak Fishing show on FSN.

Latest episode just aired (Thursdays 11:30 am Eastern). For all those who DVR'd it let us know how it was. Hopefully there will be an online version too.

Hey now, it's not just an Ocean Kayak commercial!  It is also a Scotty commercial and an Ex Officio commercial.  But, someone has to pay for my fish porn. The actual fishing content on the KFS is pretty good IMHO.  You just have to skip the first few minutes.

I spoke with the host of the show Morgan Promnitz a couple weeks ago and he mentioned things may be a little messed up the first episode or two on the west coast, do to the purchase of versus by NBC and then the purchase of NBC by Comcast, so stand by. I'll post a link up later today of the 1st episode which features Morgan fishing for Stripers near Salem Mass with Hobie team member Marty Mood..

Oh yeah! I love the fishing from the KFS too.  Especially the adventures down south.  It will be a good mix now with two shows to choose from.

Thanks for keeping us posted Jammer! You need to convince them to do shows with you, ndogg and Rawkfish gator fishing and rockfishing. That would be cool to watch!

...so last August, Zee, myself and Morgan Promnitz from Hobie shot some video for Hobie's TV show "Hobie Outdoor Adventures" between the coast and Portland. Zee and Morgan had an amazing two days together on the water, followed by myself shooting with Morgan out of Pacific City for Coho, Rockfish and Dungeness Crab. If you would like to check it out and have a TV, it air's next Wednesday at 12noon on NBC Sports Channel. Search your local listings for NBC Sports "Hobie Outdoor Adventures" Wednesday 4/24.
