Depoe Bay - Weekend of June 16th.... unless that changes  ;D
Just found out that's the weekend of a family reunion in AZ. Since Dad & Uncles are getting on in years, I plan on going. If ORC happens that weekend maybe somebody else can pick up the keg (Dana?) Keeping my fingers crossed the ORC date shifts.

Okay. don't know if i'll be able to go to the 2102 ORC but I just had to try some of this slog you guys have been talking about. Bought a sixer of Total Domination and tried it out. Cleared my palate(oops, that that French stuff) and downed one then another just for good measure. Very good, but a little heavy for my taste. What can I get as a recommendation for just a tad less hoppy and heavy. I'm sure I'll get some good recommendations from the true Sudsheads in the club.
Thanks. Oh, was I not supposed to chase this with a shot of Pendelton Canadian whiskey? Too late.

Man. You two are harsh. Let's get this straight. I don't drink domestic and especially NO LITE stuff.

There isn't anything wrong with Domestic Beer.

I just started drinking Terminal Gravity and it doubled my Tab  :(

You guys know what I mean. Domestic to me is Bud, Coors,MGD. If I drink a brew it's like coffee.
Give me the full meal deal.

... you want a dark beer that isn't heavy? Try Session Black.
if you want a dark beer that is heavy but not hoppy try the Yeti oak aged imperial stout.

Regular session has been my favorite since i think Issac brought it to ORC a couple years ago. Haven't tried the black yet.

Not a fan of the darker, heavier beers..Now have a keg of Hefeweizen and a pile of lemons and i'd be happy...
See ya on the water..

I feel you Roy. Dark is good but more than a pint can be really filling. Session is a very good lager. Also try Newcastle Ale. Not local but gooooood.

I do the opposite. I drink the dark beers because they are filling.  If I didn't drink dark beer, I would drink too much.  Now I need to try this Session Black and Yeti of which FG speaks so highly.

Lemons are meant to keep the flies out of your bottles...but, with a tapped beer. Lemon is to marinate the fish not your beer.
