that's what I say to everybody at work also, even though I've been there 10 years!
Anyway, I just wanted to give everybody in the Portland area a shout, since I bought a boat and have been fishing in it quite a bit. I've been fishing for sturgeon, as you can see from my avatar, but am looking forward to slaying some salmon this spring. I have a Native Ultimate, which is something it seems like no one else has around here. I would love to get in on some of the group fishing events I have read about here. New to kayaking, I have gotten some good info already about anchor systems and salmon trolling, so thanks a bunch.

Welcome to the site! Post up the next time you're heading out and I'm sure there will be a couple of guys that are happy to meet up. See you on the water soon!

Welcome! I also have (had) a Native Ultimate 14.5. I liked it a lot but wanted a SOT for rougher water conditions and hands free paddling so bought a Hobie Outback. I will say the seat in the Ultimate was much more comfortable!

I am always looking for someone to go out with - let me know if your planning a trip and we could meet up. I am game for just about anything.
