Anyway, it's a fine start, Hydro.  I assume you posted this to the forum in search of critique.  Ok, then; happy to help.  I think you'll find the attached to be informative.

Thanks for the suggestions AJ. I cant blame you for lusting after that T140. I remember when I first saw her up against the wall of the kayak shop, on the bottom of the stack. All the way in the back and tucked into a shadow. I saw that jet finish and let loose the  "THATSTHEONEWRAPITUP!"
I was surprised when it hit the light that its actually a dark OD green.
Even though its not black the plastic still gets painfully hot in the summers, but still, ill take that inconvenience for the stealthier vibe.

I felt that I should document the new lair now since it will never look this good again.
Now we bring in the secondary wave of adventure gear while trying to keep the room functional.
Ive got the tank up and running and my blue crawdad survived the transport. good times.
Im very fortunate to have a partner who embraces the paddling lifestyle or none of this would work.

Would those allow for storing boats upside down?
Yep. its a very nice product.

Linglady and I had our offer accepted today, and close on our new place August 22nd.    Three car garage leaves lots of room for drillin and cuttin.  MLS is 373228 if you want to check out pictures.

The house looks beautiful Lee. Congrats to both of you!!
I hope that all ops are smooth with the move and looking forward to seeing your kayak shop come together.
Im still very happy with the Talic system if youre considering using that for storage.

It'll be a while, but I'm thinking it will do nicely.  The yaks have multiplied from two to five.

Congrats Linglady and Lee. Beautiful place.   My drilling and cutting will be in my garage where my side view mirror compromised SUV should be parked.
Kayak fishing?  I have no clue, but I'm doing it.

Congrats on the new place Lee!
I do my drillin' and cuttin' in my garage.
Nothing fancy, but it's the only room in the house I have left.

I like that work bench.  I gotta get one.  Using a kitchen cart from ikea right now.  Wali would approve.

I just took a few pictures of my "cave" and thought I'd share with the clan. The bench is a total mess but with 25' to work with I sometimes get a little lazy and don't put away my toys.It is really nice to have a shop totally dedicated to my play things.Just FYI ,the shop is 864 sq. ft.I have a wood stove to install before winter, got the small fridge for keeping bait and beers cold, but still have a lot of finding the right place for everything to tweek.Hope you enjoy the shots..

Great looking shop Mark! I wish I had that kind of room. I'm slowly getting my garage set up but still need to put in a lot more work.

Hey Mark, your cave is the same square footage as my current house.  :D

RR, is that just a piece of sheet metal on your work surface?

     Hey Lee,
I looked at your new place with the 3 car/kayak garage on MLS.You'll be getting a nice looking "new" man cave as soon as you move in.Make it a custom unit and you'll be posting your own shots soon enough.Nice house ,by the way.

Yup. It's a simple homemade bench with a single sheet of fitted sheet metal. I believe mine is aluminum.

How do you like it? I've been debating what to use as the top of mine but was thinking that some items might slide around a bit on metal.
