Friend who lives in Manzanita said  110 mph gusts and 30 foot waves at Newport.  Great to do some wave-watching, but could you stand up???

I have a place down there and will have to check that my roof is still intact after this passes. I was down for the last big storm  with 100 mph winds., it's amazing how much noise your house makes with winds like that.

yep, drove down to Cape Arago two days ago and measured a gust at 80 MPH with the wind meter!!

a 113 MPH gust was measured last night. It has been crazy, blew down a bunch of my fencing that was crappily installed by the previous owner.
See ya on the water..
