Ive owned 17 kayaks and 4 of them were given names.

1. I had a Dagger "response" that I often struggled to exit. We called it  "THE COFFIN".
2. We used to tandem surf on a OK "malibu 2" that I had a tendency to pearl, so it got tagged "MOTHER"
3. A red Malibu "4.4" was "THE RED ROCKET" for obvious reasons.
4. And the current speedster in my quiver is the Spirit "PRS" surf ski. I just call it "FASTER".

If you want a few name suggestions for a fleet Id recommend
THE ARK
THE LOUNGE
ORGASMIC
NO WAKE
LUGE TRAINER
and
BAIT BUCKET

You guys rock! I was laughing and writing many down reading through your replies. The only one definitely out is The Coffin. No way a tourist would board that craft!

I subbed for the Maritime class at high school last week, and had the local kids come up with some too. Not so much kayak related (except the first two), but still cool names.

I'll try to post the final results once they're printed. Need twelve for sure, all for sit-insides.

Since I am an IT guy, the C:\ name cracked me up!!!!  Floating Decimal would also fit the geek meme.

Cougar Magnet made me giggle :)

I might have to actually steal and use O-Sea-D though :)  That fits....
