I am going to try to go down to the spit sometime with my wife with our Ocean Kayak Malibu 2xl. I am working on the slope now but this last time home, was able to go icefishing with my bro, wife and I, we picked up 6 pike.

Ok, back to warmer weather angling. Just looking for warmer temp. on Kenai pen. to warm up for like 10 days or at least around 35 degrees. I will be off from feb. 27 to march 11. Just around the green buoy, with a mooching rig. Maybe pick up some halibut, but trying for the winter kings.

[WR] the chena will thaw around its normal time around the middle of may. Even with those cold temps, we have had some much snow the ice is insulated, so the ice does not grow that fast. And the sun is getting more powerful everyday. Love the sun!
