I've got Thursday and Friday off from work this week and was thinking of going down to Walter Wirth. I wanted to see if anybody else had plans on getting out to do some fishing and where you thought on going. I'm pretty new to the area/fishing and would like to possibly meet up to get done pointers/insights while nabbing some future dinner.

Langcod, what I should have said was, yeah, I'd like to go since it's close to home for me and I haven't fished there before and I am anxious to get my first AOTY points. However, the weather report doesn't look great and I am kind of a fair weather kayaker. Friday is supposed to be a little better than today and Thursday.

We ought to have a mid-Valley crew if there's enough people. Just a thought. BTW, your cousin has been my #1 mentor since I started doing this last summer.

Be sure to give us a report if you do go. I've been scoping Freeway Lakes which is another 20 miles south of Wirth. The other day it looked like chocolate milk.
