So let's get out there together next week. Let me know when you're free. I'm hoping to hit the Sandy again next week.

Walli, I can't help but wonder why you haven't picked up one of the waterproof camera cases and thrown your Droid Commando in it, and re-sold the camera on fleabay.  *nudge*

a few examples (the soft cases)

My Droid G'Zone Commando needs no waterproof camera case!

Maybe not, but I think we can all agree that Mr. DAMHIK could use the lanyards that come with them.

Oh the commando always hangs around my neck and has a floaty. (and I only lost one to figure that out) ::)

I really like the Pentax cam over pretty much all the other's I've dropped in the drink. It seems to produce sharper, better focused images than the Olympus (Olympuses) I've had. It's also better in low light and does not seem to fog as much.

The commando's cam is not bad, but there is no optical zoom or flash.

The Commando is waterproof, has a lanyard port, but takes crappy pictures in my opinion.

We're talking about a date problem for pictures of fish, that are going to be in your lap.  A good picture isn't needed.  You can still use the Pentax for normal pictures, where quality matters, and the date does not.  Waterproof or not, saltwater can still be a game stopper.
