Ok guys it is time to get serious.  What type of beer do you want for the clinic?  I know the choices aren't the best and in a perfect world we would be drinking some fine craft beers, but hey its free beer.  Also, are there any topics you really want us to discuss?

Yes, input from some of the newbies on topic suggestions would be great.

What do you guys have on the agenda right now? It might be good to add in some discussions on anchoring on the Columbia and Willamette, as that seems to be a popular subject and can be dangerous. You could show off the different type of anchors and different set ups of floats and breakaway ties/methods.

Since I will be driving down and back from Olympia, I may partake in 1 early on, but only 1.  1 cold Raineer please...unless the PBR is in bottles, then it is a whole new ballgame :)

+1
Also if possible to demonstrate differences in anchoring techniques between a peddle or paddle craft

Anchoring up gets my vote also!  After reading some of the posts for the Willie Sturgeon frenzie I'd like to learn a little more.  My wife is going to tag along.  See you there!  If PBR is good enough for my kickball team it'll pass for this event!  Who do I kick a few dollars to or is it BYOB??

Trolling for springers - check.   :)   No need to chip in for beer,  I think Deek & Bryan are buying.   ;)

I would love to know about VHF operation on the water.  Something I know nothing about.  What channels should I monitor, default setup for an emergency, radio checks with CG or others, etc...

Oly,

Here's a couple of good links on VHF operation for a primer. If you have additional questions for tonight, I'm sure somebody can answer them.
