I'll try to make it and maybe my son again, too. I used my Hogg's coupon after the salt water meeting. That was a nice gesture so thank them profusely for letting us use their facilities.

I still have the Budweiser from your last class at Hog's.  I haven't been fishing enough with Jammer lately to get rid of it. ;D  I may be able to attend but, the in-laws will be in town if that is Spring break.

Shhhh....I was going to try that.  Lol.  Kings are so hard to come by in the Kenai I can never get myself to do it.  I also think shrimp are scarce in the inlet but could be abundant where they grow.  I know the Kenai rainbows lived them when bait was legal.

I also was thinking about getting a fe dozen sand shrimp fed exec up and trying it.

I will say two of the kings I caught in anchor point cook inlet off my yak were herring brined in pollock and shrimp oil so I now they don't hate it.  Oops...another secret...lol

It's hard to say.  I know you can catch kings back bouncing just a spin n glo,  they hit a sardine wrapped kwickfish and we don't have sardines up here.  I guarantee a shrimp spinner will catch fish.  The question is will they catch more fish....ok, I'll bite.  I will try it this year...from a power boat.  The true test is fishing them next to the standard stuff and see how they do....

My dad had a friend who caught silvers using smoked salmon for bait.  I've caught trout using fried chicken, when we were ice fishing trout were picking up the bones we were throwing down the hole.  I have a native friend who swears by greasy fried chicken for halibut. How valuable is your time and what is your utility/satisfaction level of being pioneer? Mine is high so I will try it!

I might be looking at some video options myself if they come up. It'd be almost 200 miles round-trip for me to head out there from Hood River. Plus, I'm wanting to head back out there to fish on Saturday?

Are out of town that night ?????

I plan on shooting video tomorrow.  If all goes well, the raw video will be availabe for a short time to contributing NWKA members.  I'll also make my outline available to those members.  Keep in mind, this may take a little while.  In real life I work full time ++, take care of a family and still make time to fish and surf.

Long term, I hope to make a series of videos available online on a subscription basis.
