I can't wait!  There will finally be enough time after work to make a drive to the lake or Puget Sound during the work week worth the effort!

Oh, and thanks for the new avatar Spot!

We are going to have to hook up Lee!  Maybe meet in the middle for some flatfish or something.

We'll probably be doing some self rescue followed up by cardio / trolling next week at American Lake.  I'll let you know when we go.  We both have new yaks and need to make sure nothing is too different.

Me too! The boat ramp for Columbia Springer fishing is 5 minutes from my office! I just need to figure out some where to stash the boat so my wife doesn't figure out "working late" = fishing.

Better "fishing" than "trolling"...

what kind of trolling? With down riggers? Or just lures?

We might head out on Sunday, not sure where yet.

I can still remember when switching to daylight savings time mattered. I've been self-employed for so long that I sometimes forget what its like to get released from the cage of corporate servitude early enough in the afternoon so that one can still attempt to salvage the day.

Lee, I'm so glad that you explained how you got that new avatar. I was sort of wondering about you there for a moment...

Islandson. Think you missed ihop's meaning of "Trolling". He's talkin' fishing for the
"female species humanoid". ;D
also can't wait for the longer days in the evening even though the weather and especially the wind has put a damper on fishing in our "convergence zone".

That is most definitely not what I mean.  I just got engaged, so that kind of trolling is done.

Dino - likely just rapalas or blue fox lures on the surface.  Early spring in the afternoon, the big trout can be found at the surface, and I prefer a 24"+ trout over 14" kokanee.

If I can get the hardwood floors refinished early, I'll definitely be heading out Sunday as well, but getting those floors done quickly is not likely.

Lee. Congrats to you and your fiancee :love4:. May life treat you and your family with the best it has to offer. I wasn't using your reference(apologies if that's what's assumed), butiHops. May be wrong in that case also.
