Brian, your assignment, if you choose to accept it, is to chat up whatever resorts show up (which is usually a lot) and see if anyone is interested in starting up some kayak fishing programs this year.  If you could also stop by the Hawgquest booth and chat up Glen about having a kayak fishing show.  I've chatted with him before and need to keep mindshare with him.  He'll turn one of these days.

Allen I didn't get much time away from the aquatic nuisance species booth today.  I barely had enough time to run to the Fishermen's Marine booth on the exact opposite side of the expo center and back.  I did however manage to stop by the Hawg Quest booth.   Glen wasn't there at the time but I did talk to his wife.  I asked if they ever thought about doing a kayak fishing show and she said is a guy named Allen Sansano who has approached them about doing one.  I guess Glen is game, but the cameraman is a bit kayak shy and can't figure out how to film and paddle at the same time.   That and  the show in general is a big money pit for them.  Seems that beyond the travel and production costs, Fox charges them for airtime.  Anyway, I told them that I thought kayak fishing was the new frontier of fishing in the North West and it would certainly be something different for them to show their audience.  You can rest assured in the knowledge that they do remember you.
