I am in for Sunday.  I need a new species for the Aoty.   I need to pull even farther ahead on Ndogg.     And I mean that in the least trash talky way possible.

John, I appreciate your indignation and apologize that it was so easily taken as a slight to people who've been delt a challenging hand in life.  The word is more frequently used in the spoken english language to mean;

1.  "...to get stupid; just act how you want to; dance like you don't know what you're doing. "

2. "an adjective used to describe something or someone that is pleasing to the eye, or looks good."

3. "Having really good qualities about yourself; havin a banging body; somethin that is just that thang!"

I don't think I've heard 'retarded' used to describe downs syndrome or any other kind of special needs since the 1980s.
