Nice Kokes.  If a WA licence was not so expensive I would probably be spending a lot of time on Merwin.

Is it just me, or  do people with Hobies seem to out fish everyone else?

The top five in the 2011 aoty and this year so far are all hobie owners.  So either Hobies help you stay on the fish and out longer or Hobie owners addiction to kayak fishing is at another level.

Look at the ORC 2011 score board.  I think it was 9 of the top 10 or 12 where Hobie pilots.

Absolutely the latter.  Today on the Columbia it was Ocean Kayak 2 Hobie 1 for salmon.  And there were a lot more Hobies.  It is just that Spot's addiction has made him a highly skilled angler.

Oh, and nice Kokes.  I would be willing to spring for a WA day pass to try that.
