I will be heading down to the area this weekend, camping at Seaquest SP on Silver Lake.  I've never fished this lake before.  Anyone have any tips to offer?  I probably won't have much fishing time as we're heading that way prmarily to check out Mt. Saint Helens, which I haven't been to in a long while.

Big bass, if I remember correctly.

I would be tempted to try some late evening/night surface action.

Good Luck, Bill

I didn't really give it much effort.  I got out in the middle of the day today and it was H-O-T!!!  99 when we where pulling out around 12:30 and it got as high as 106 on the ride back to Seattle.   Paddled around with the girlfriend more than anything else.  Gave a few feeble tosses of a spinnerbait.  We did hit St. Helens yesterday.  Always an awe inspiring trip.  This is a nice short weekend camping trip from Seattle.  Next time I'll try to get more fishing in.
