Last weekend hooked nice fish in Hagg Lake, didn't have a net so I beached the boat and dragged the fish to shore.  10.85 lbs. and 29.5 inches.  What fun.

Wow! Didn't know there were any sizable fish at hagg!

Exactly what I was looking for the day we met on the water.  I hope you left one for me!   ;D

I'm a little lazy so I just did a cut and paste from thesaurus.com to describe that fish.  I disagree with the part where it says "gross" though.  Plus I've never heard of brobdingnagian.

Herculean, Moby, blimp, brobdingnagian, colossal, cyclopean, elephantine, enormous, gargantuan, giant, gross, huge, immense, jumbo, mammoth, massive, monster, monstrous, prodigious, stupendous, super-colossal, titan, tremendous, vast, whopping

"Gross" like in gross pay (max pay), not gross food (nasty food).

Deepcolor, clearly you are too young to remember Howard Cosell, he was the first person I heard use Brobdingnagian. I believe he was proving color on Monday Night Football. Cosell and Muhammed Ali made my college days a lot more fun!

Nice HaggBow, and nice Outback, too. Welcome to the cure!

Abba? No, that's Benny and Bjorn, but I suspect you knew that!

OK you got me.  I did see Woodie Allen's Sleeper so I do know who Howard Cosell is.

Anyway...that's a giant trout MuskieHunter.  Way to go.

Damn, nice fish! My Springer wasn't that big last year! And it doesn't even look like it survived a nuclear fallout like Nate's brooder  ;D
