The tent/group area has a common fire pit and the CB folks supply the wood.

Last year, NWKA supplied the wood.  So if you see us running out, don't be shy to ask us for more.  Your entry fees hard at work ...

-Allen

I don't mind bringing a bunch of wood (whatever will fit in the bed of my truck considering the kayak).  I'll be driving alone, so all the camping gear can go in the back seat.  I'd bet I could get 1/3 cord to fit, maybe more (have to close the tail gate and probably have the yak on top).  That would offset that cost, and leave more for swag or prizes.  If you'd rather buy it from Chinook Bend to help them make a bit more off us that's fine with me.  One less thing to pack into the truck.  But if it's wanted I'll definitely bring it.

The wood is a nice offer, but please do not bring any from outside the area.  That is how a lot of the diseases affecting the lumber industry get spread.

Should be fine.  Kiln dried stuff should be as well.

I see banquet setup is open so I'll take that.  Do we think we need more plates and such? Table cloths?  My first time...

Dang, glad you mentioned that Waterman.  Yup, we could use paper plates and sporks.....  I completely forgot about these.  Anybody else wanna jump on plates and sporks too?  We'll probably need around 200 to 300 depending on how many families are joining their fish gladiators.

I'll take you up on the setup.  Should be minimal if we hold this on the riverside deck.  If the weather turns wet, the barn requires a little set-up to facilitate the potluck.

Let me know what I can bring and do to help. I will arrive Thursday before 10 am. Have large tent and larger kayak with room for one crew member. I plan to cruise around and take pics and video. Is there power to recharge all my gear?

Your duty is to cruise around and take pics and video.  Please bring a cable for downloading your pics and vids to islandson671's laptop for the slide show.

I sent in my dry suit a few weeks ago for new wrist gaskets. I specifically and repeatedly said I need it back by 6/10 but when I called today they said they haven't finished yet  :violent1:

I just PM'ed wobbler about borrowing his dry suit, is anyone else bringing extra immersion gear in size L? I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Noah.

I spoke to another person at the repair shop and after explaining myself a little bit it seems there is a chance I will get my dry  suit back in time.

Regardless, I appreciate the generosity/hospitality!

I hadn't thought of an all hands request!

I'm taking one of our sponsors (The owner of Konezone) out to fish on contest day.  I have a wetsuit for him but know he'd do better/last longer in a drysuit.  Anybody have an extra that would fit someone ~5'10" and ~200lbs?

Thanks!
