Camped at Porteau Cove over the weekend, the weather was good but a little windy. Fished outside the park area from my Nucanoe with no bites, dropped 2 crab traps and managed to get 5 keepers, went too pull the traps before we left today and the wind really picked up and had to paddle like hell to get the traps. We caught a snow crab or something like it which was quite unusual, the Nucanoe worked great even in the wind and chop!

The campsite is clean and there is some good crab fishing
overall good trip!!

Looks like fun.

Glad to hear the NuCanoe is working out for you.
