Good to hear you're solid with your manhood Andrew. Let's hope the wind dies down.

I've hung out on Bloody Decks.  This place is very tame by comparison.

Oh man, a Tom Cruise reference with all this butt talk.  That dude has to come out of Stan's closet some time.

Keep 'em coming guys. Maybe this thread should be moved to The Shorebreak or the Chum Bucket. Lord. What have I done?

I can meet up with you, Fishnut. Though I would rather fish up north more, like Rosario or west side of Burrows island. Went to Admiralty on the opener last year and it wasnt that great.

Answer. Poor. Didn't even have a looker. chatter on the Vhf indicated no fish taken at this area. Tide was really ripping with about an 8'drop in the am. I'll let Sumpnz post on the days activities if he's so inclined. All I can tell you is he saved "my butt' by rescuing my Mirage Drive as it fell overboard near shore(1-2'deep)when hit by a wave as we were dragging our yaks thru a virtual "rippin' river" of current. Thanks Andrew. :spittake:

Thanks for the report.

Fishnut, leash that mirage drive! Some nylon rope (or whatever you got handy), a carabiner (optional but makes it easy to take on and off) and a padeye is all you need.

Micahgee. Already have several leashes and they were aboard. Just forgot to secure the drive. Lesson learned. Once again, a big shout out to Sumpnz

Yeah - there were a few NSFW words said when he realized that Mirage drive had fallen out.  Luckilly my young eyes spotted one of the foot pedals sticking up out of the water in between waves.  I ran back and grabbed it while Rich kept our yaks from floating off.

Ah nvm, we've all been there. One time I attached a rod leash to a rod, but forgot to attach the other end to the kayak, I reach around and plop.   :-\

Any plans to try again for the 'buts?

Heh yea, I don't understand how I lost that flag, I screwed it in to the holder and the next thing I know its gone  ???

Thankfully I've gotten a lot better about leashing/stowing stuff, haven't lost anything besides snagged tackle and pair of lip grips since that trip I believe.
