fishing and life...

All I think about is fishing... it was bad before kayaks... now... I'm a junky in pain (elbows) and I keep thinking I need to get on the water.  I spend 4 hours making lists of lakes to visit in my area.  I looked them up to see if they were in the regs, I found them on google maps and followed the roads that would take me there.  I started to prioritize them and then realized what I was doing... 

Yup, you're normal.

NWKA is like attending an AA meeting where they have Bourbon raspberry brownies and costco size grey goose bottles on the refreshment table in the back of the room.

A great friend of mine was the co-founder of the Los Angeles Scotch Club.  I spent a month down there on a short term contract job and spent every weekend at his place.  The club meetings were epic.  I was about like AA, but in reverse, and with seriously top notch booze.  Even got to meet the producer of "American Pie".

I started to twitch at work yesterday so I "needed" to go fishing last night.

1 send wife to work.
2 Daughter to physical therapist then school (remember to feed her)
3 FISH FISH FISHFISHFISHFISHFISHFISH!!!
4 BEER THIRTY!!
5 repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.

Just wish work wouldn't interfere so much with fishing and hunting activities.  Hoping that the lottery will come through and my new desk will be the seat of my Hobie!!

Surfing, fishing, riding bikes, camping, being outdoors, listening to music, drinking beer; everything else God put here to punish me for having such a good time...

Say those 4 hours could have been spent packing/fishing/cleaning from a trip to one of those local lakes 

The Port Angeles Chapter of NWKAAA (Northwest Kayak Angling Addicts Anonymous will be holding it's first meeting Sat. morning.  The location will be; in keeping with revjcp's advice, just off the tip of Ediz Hook at a depth of about 200'.  BYOB!  (bring your own bait)  Will will be working on Step # 1) admitting our wives and significant others have a problem.
