That's a Crappy, good eating. Caught lots of them from the Mississippi while growing up on cork poppers and minnows.

That brings back memories  :D   "Discovering"  Sac-a-lait (pronounced saaah-cah-lay) behind the big boat at my family's house in Lacombe is one of my favorite fishing memories. Dinner plate sized, slabs, that bit as long as you sent them a small shiner 4' under a small cigar float. Then when I found out they ate flies? It was on pecan! (pronounced paa-cawn)

I don't think that's one of them  though. My vote is for Pumpkin Seed. (and where's Bsteves when you need him!?!)

Not the smallest fish of the Day either . LOL and I did have one lil sunfish that size on a mount one time about to be eaten by a Muskie. found it at a yard sale gave it to a friend of mine.
