I don't know if I have anymore respect for bass fisherman.  The video just reinforces that they are a different kind of crazy from the rest of us.

Ouch, I winced a few times for sure. He should have buried 2 of the treble points in his leg for a real challenge!

Freakin idiot. He could have done the same thing using a generously thick cut of ham or pastrami.
If he wanted to prove how tough he was he could have had his friend forcefully kick him in the sack as hard as possible rather than this bull crap.

When I was about 12 years old, I was trying out the "bow & arrow" cast, and dug two hooks of a treble hook bend deep in the palm of my hand. My father was an ER physician who fished and had seen that trick a number of times. He just told me to buck up while he pushed them in farther and rotated them up so the barbs came out. Two snips with a pair of dykes, and back out it came. Let's see ol' Chad dig two hooks out with his method.

It's a great technique, but does NOT work well when you are chuck-n-duck'ing a 7wt fly rod with a big 1/0 clouser on sinking line and get that sucker lodged in the back of your shoulder or neck.  I am still trying to figure out a solo, one handed, no seeum, way of removing a barbed hook from my back.
