Hi everyone my name is Annie.  I have been fishing for trout from my kayak on the local lakes for about six years now and am looking to go for something a bit bigger.  So I am really looking forward to meeting some of the south sound crew on the water some time.  I have so many questions,  but i'll ask them in the appropriate forum topic since this is just the intro.  I just bought an new OC Trident 13 and decked it out.  I attached a picture file, not sure how that's going to come up.  I wasn't sure what to do with when I clicked on insert an image.  Any way hello every one I am learning a lot from all the great post.  thanks.

Welcome!  Most of us are gearing up and planning for the Oregon Rockfish Classic next weekend in Depoe Bay, but we'll be back to fishing the South Sound area soon  (and the coast!)  The Sound South seems to be growing a lot more members recently.

Welcome.  The T13 is a nice boat.  Done much fishing in the salt?  I believe we have a Shelton contingent here.

Thanks for the welcoming stuff. I have done some fishing in the salt but mostly from a power boat.    I like the kayak for its stealthy quiet approach to fishing. I also like that I can throw it on the truck and go anywhere.

Welcome. I saw that picture and thought someone stole my kayak but I know I just saw mine in the shop five minutes ago! Mine's a T-11. That whole setup looks so familiar to me right down to the milk crate.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
