My buddy picked up steelheadr's barge Prowler Big Game.  As you'd expect he was a little hesitant to go out on the big blue at first, and had a few rough starts, but got out there and looked like a champ coming in.  After his first hookup (a double - rockfish on a shrimp fly and legal sized ling on lead head) he was hooked.  Not the greatest photos as they are video stills but whatever.





BTW, if anybody found a bilge pump at PC I know it's owner...

looks like he was getting the dust off his reel too, although seawater may not be the best way. Glad to the yak get back in action so quickly, and a new yakfisher find the cure.

LOL!  Yeah, he was using a ridiculously long rod for the yak, one he used to fish off the piers with.  He'll be picking up a shorty shortly.
