I have made a few "fish whackers" that I will be bringing to ORC . If some of you might need/want a club to dispatch your winning fish---find me at Chinook Bend.I'll be ariving on Thursday and leaving Sunday morning.
The "whackers" are made out of driftwood or cedar .I carefully selected the driftwood so that it is a fine hard wood--no soft stuff that might break with an overly enthusiastic application. The cedar ones are  made from 2X2's.All have triple coats of varathane for waterproofing.
By using wood for these "whackers" if you want to, you can notch your successes with the fish you catch .We could compare notches at next years event to see who has used their's the most. They'll make a nice memento for this epic event.I'm only bringing 10 of them down so they might dissappear quickly.
See ya'll in a few days...........

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

You could burn in an inscription for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Barbie. ;D
Much cooler than a Loving cup or a plaque.

That's already taken care of.  Mark has created us some friggin awesome, one of kind, hand carved trophies for this year.
I'm stoked out of my fricken brain!!!  We could still use one for the Barbie comp though....  :)

Mark those are some fine looking wackers.  I may need to grab one this weekend.
Can I ask you hold off on selling one to Craig or Jammer until Sunday.  I am sharing a tent with them and really don't want to walk in on one of them wacking.

Dino, are you looking at the one that looks like a thigh bone or the one above it that looks like a mushroom?
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.
