Hey Paul,
I talked to Dave at Mazama's Fishing shop (a week ago) and he committed to donating some prizes.  He said he'll put together some stuff in the next week and either you or I can pick it up.  The shop I'm working at is a couple of blocks away from Mazama's so it'll be easier for me.

Cool! Too late to get them on the flyers i put up here but i can put it on a file to send to you guys and maybe you can take them and put them up at Mazama's, eugene skin divers and caddis fly. ... I will make sure to get them on there for next year
See ya on the water..

Sounds great! thanks Dana. I'll stop by Caddis Fly & Eugene Skin Divers to pick up those donations.

Hope to see you there too sherminator. What is here resistance to hitting the salt? If it's a surf lauch, no worries, NOT a surf lauch unless you count inches as surf.

Her resistance is the usual phobias - GWS, surf, swells, cold & deep water, various large marine mammals... However, I know she would love it once she got out there, and so does she. Part of her original attraction to me was that I encouraged her to do fun things that were out of her comfort zone, so she will eventually get there. She loves kayaking on the coastal estuaries. I am just waiting for the right combination of good weather, smooth seas, and us being there with a kayak.

I'd love to make it but I think my wife's birthday party is the same day. Possible she might move it though. Fingers crossed!

Sounds like you're getting your come-uppance for making your wife plan her own birthday bash. 😃

Ha. I offered but she said she would handle it :dontknow: Perhaps she had fears about a birthday party on a river or lake somewhere :) Actually I think she and her best friend are planning some mystery murder party or something. I'm hoping I get murdered so I don't have to play.

Noah - just don't lose your keys  ;D

(For those who don't have a clue what I am referring to, see http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=6934.msg71940#msg71940   Noah probably is the NWKA doghouse record holder.)

Also, don't leave your keys in your buddies tent when you go hunting, figure them for lost for 9 months, then get them back after he sets off your alarm with the panic button every 10 seconds at the ORC.   ::)

Nice job of putting this together Roy.  I'm really looking forward to the tourney and all these sponsors should up my odds of winning something.  This is gonna be a lot of fun.

put me in the confirmed category - got time off approved and a campsite reserved. Looking forward to getting down that way again. I don't think I've been to CB area for about 15 years.

Roy, you know I would have hopped the chance to be there with you guys, but I had to make plans really early just to get a window of time off at work to take my annual bonding trek with one of my kiddo's (daughter turn this year).  I had already dialed in August 3-10 to float the Willy from around Eugene to Salem before you posted a date.

Man! it would be so convenient if the Willy flowed the other way, then I'd just have the wife and my son pick us up and head to Sunset from Eugene.   :-\

Good luck to all those that participate, Dana's gunna slaughter all again.  ;D

There's a pretty good chance I'll could make it down to see ya next year, as I just scheduled my sabbatical for next year.
Taking June 16th-August 10 for sabbatical, and swinging to tack on 3-4 more weeks of vacation behind that.  Just gotta hope it gets approved!  8)
First part of the time off is a freaking long road trip to the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, and maybe scoot down through Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, back up through Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, etc...  Got a lot of stuff to update/upgrade on my truck first.
