MSW isn't dependable this far out.

Yeah, right... what weather report can you ever truly count on being 100% accurate... I guess we shall see! Even if we all just end up drinking a lot of Ninkasi, that works for me too.  ;) Its gonna be fun anyway, so don't count me out!

Is there a reasonable chance for crabs anywhere in area we will be fishing?

More then reasonable.. Good area for crabbing right close the fishing grounds! I can show you where to drop your pots

The crabbing is in 25-35 FOW

I don't want to put a big hex on the day but bring some Salmon trolling gear for a back up plan. Just didn't want to post it up at the last second.

One way or another we will have fun and give away prizes...

Whatcha thinking?  Is it getting rough out there or something?

edit - looked at the seaweed...looks like it is going to be windy!  What's the launch look like when the swells are 5'-7' out there?

The launch will be flat as a board still, it's when you get out of sunset bay proper that it gets sloppy. Still will be able to fish a good area though, just better to be prepared for anything. I stilll think it's gonna be ok. We will get a good idea of what it will be like on friday when we go out.
