Started out foggy and cold. I caught a small trout off the bat.  It warned up and the sun came out and it became a nice day.

Then the fish started to bite and here they are

The largest one was 14". Was a fun day watching the otters try and steal my fish and the bald eagle chase ravens (man they are noisy)

Also my fixed Hobie paddle works like a charm, so does my new paddle!

That's the Oregon Lost Lake north side of hood right? If so, that's one of my favorite places to fish. Never got much bigger than 14 but I know theres a few in there.

Its 1 of 16 lost lakes in Oregon. My friends wont let me tell because it is getting crowded. We sometimes get trout over 18"

Just going to bank fish, huh?   ;)
I take it you car isn't currently sporting the lower section?

That kayak is growing on ya, isn't it.

Awesome catch, bro!

Yep my front end is naked!  I need to put it back on soon.  I finally said what the hell and threw the kayak on my car and went up there. Bank fishing is soooooo much better up there.

The "Lost Lake" north of Mount Hood has large trout and German Browns........on 5-31-12, while trolling in my Hobie Outback I caught a 5 pound 11 ounce rainbow buck....last year, same time frame, I caught a 8.5 pound rainbow hen.......the Brown's exceed 10 pounds....it's a great place to fish....not on the weekends due to the crowds.
