Hey Tom don't worry I in 100% I have a friend who will water taxi for us, all we have to do is work out the kinks,  We could use a inflatable with a small 5 hp outboard.  Give me a call sometime this week ;)

Charlie,

Inflatable?  Are you sure?  Ummmm, I might rather paddle it myself.  But hey, I'm open.  Or maybe I'll rig a temporary big honking trolling motor and car battery on my yak for the trip.

Let's see what Polepole has up his sleeve.  I'm a little bit betting that he's working on some kind of a deal to camp at that deserted log skid/camp on the north side of Head Bay.  That would be just about a 2 or 3 mile paddle across.  No big at all.

Rest assured, though... there's going to be SOME kind of kayak activity over there on Moutcha Bay this Labor Day weekend.

If at first you don't succeed....  maybe skydiving is just not for you.

I'm going to lock down this thread and start a new one now that the sun has risen again ...   :toothy4:

I'll open a new thread in the Events section when we have more details.  But for now, mark Aug. 30 - Sept. 1 on your calendars and start building WAF/GAF/etc.
