Is anyone having any luck catchin steelhead ?...I hooked two early last week but the only thing I've caught since is a tan.....I've been fishin the whole frenchmans/catipillar island stretch.. I'm starting to wonder if I need to drastically change locations or if everyone is having the same luck ....or perhaps I just need to be more patient

I pedaled and fished from Wintler park to I-205 bridge on washington side saturday...caught a 10'' bass on my k9 kwikfish lol. Talked to quite a few PB'ers ....one nate released.Wow, the current was rippin and the water surprisingly high.On a good note,I got the Outback over 8 mph downstream for a few moments :D

Ha ha ya I was cruising pretty good too downstream!!....it does seem a little high and fast but I noticed a few new fish carcus's at the boat ramp so I know there out there ....maybe it's just a matter of persistence, time and patience

Seems it's been feast or famine depending on the day and tide.  Keep at it and keep an eye on what the successful boats are using and how deep they are.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
