Hi everybody, I'm Joe from Shoreline. I fish and dive from my kayaks. I just bought a brand new OK Prowler 13 from the West Marine store on Westlake in Seattle for $300. Their normal price for that boat is usually $800 which is the least expensive internet price for that boat I've found.

Greeting!  I'm down in Ballard, just above Rays Boat House on Shilshole Bay.  I also free dive off the kayak for Lings and crab.  The Salmon season is picking up now, and Shilshole is easy access to some of the best fishing in the area. Several of us on this site are around your area.  We should be arranging some group fishing session soon. Welcome aboard.

I'm very close to you.  Where have you been fishing/diving?  Free diving?  Scuba?  Kayaks?

Thanks for the welcome guys, lotta locals here and Demonick, you're real close by. I mostly scubadive with my metal detector off my kayak, it helps pay for the hobby, but I do some spear fishing and crabing too. Free diving sounds great too but I want to get set up with some rods and reels soon so if I could get together with some of ya's I'd love to see what works well in our area. I have a Cobra Fish "n" Dive rigged with an electric motor that I use to do my metal detect diving mostly around Lk. Wa. The Cobra is such a big hauler and with all the weight of my gear onboard I can't see not using the motor, it's painfully slow otherwise. My other boats are both Prowlers and I'm real happy with them. Maverick that wasn't me at GG. Thanks again guys, this seems like a great site!
