Hey guys,
Here's a little taste of salmon fishing last Saturday on the north Oregon coast. There's a lot of fish moving around out there. Doughboy caught this nice Coho and I landed this 16# Chinook.
Good times!

What a great video. Awesome footage and I love the clip where you got the fish jumping from the bow camera. Well done.

I was looking at your gear - is that just a small flasher you troll with a hootchie or do you guys use some sort of a cut plug? I was out jigging with a couple different Darts and a Buzz Bomb off Pt. Defiance with no luck. Probably different down there but just thought I'd ask. Hope the fish was good.

Later.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Awesome Vid! I might have to try that rig you had set up there. I'll have to do a search on the site to see if it's located anywhere.

I think you just taught me, I need a longer, bigger net ... when going after chinooks. Sweet video man,
