Change in plan...

Going to westport... hope to find some luck and fish there... last couple of times westport did not treat me well. sigh.

might not even do this... weather is not that nice... at least as I understand it.

Weather is not our friend this summer. Remember, we're fishermen so we're optimist, maybe the fall will be nice.

I just haven't heard good reports about NB lately... and I am not sure I want to go to the time and expense for what sounds like it will likely be a less than stellar trip.  I just really need a Ling or two or 6 for the freezer and AOTY points.

Crud... weather looks much better for NB vs westport.  I still have a difficult time understanding what is a go vs no go for the weather.  Maybe I will make the drive tomorrow after all... any input is welcome.

   Tuesday and Wednesday both are looking pretty good compared to Monday's 5' swell.From 3' down to a 1' swell on Wednesday is a lot more user friendly ,at least in my thinking.Wind waves (according to NOAA) become friendlier also.
    I will probably be going out Tuesday to get some more white meat before I start to really concentrate on salmon.Monday is out for me because of prior commitments.
   Let's get toether for a Tuesday shin-dig and go kill some fish and stock up the freezers.
