Do it guys!!!

I've done a lot of kayak fishing trips to Alaska, but this is the only one I've done twice.  And I'd do it again and again and again.  It's really that good.

I really wish my pockets were a little deeper.  This looks like an awesome trip.

I'd sign up in a heartbeat but the inability to keep/freeze fish daily to take home is a deal breaker for me.  Call me an old school stick in the mud but a big reason I fish is to put food on the table.  Letting those big lings and butts go would just kill me. ;D

Thanks for the nod of approval Allen. And sorry Sinker all kayaks are Trident 15s.

This is  not a meat hunting trip. Monster lings and halibut are increasingly difficult to find, and it kills me to see those beautiful old survivors crammed in the back of someone's freezer.  But I also understand fishing for food, which is what we do. We just can't keep any long term since we're camping, and also due to the legalities of having filleted fish on the transport boat. We just can't do it.

This is a live in the moment kind of trip, with plenty of good fish to eat every day, and new ones to find tomorrow.
