Paddleboard Fishing?

Again,  my apologies NWKA for my part in this.

I will complete the Team Bridgeport 2012 last trip report and that will be my final entry.
I did enjoy my years here but it is time for this paddler to move on to cleaner waters.

Spidey, I've had smarter ideas than the ones you have regarding leaving, albeit ones had in my carnivorous and reckless days, that involved gas station-derived deep fried ravioli and long cross country drives. One such idea resulted in yours truly getting chased from a cornfield - at gunpoint - whilst dragging a ravioli-fueled turd betwixt my exposed butt cheeks. Spidey, don't be me. Don't be dumb. It's fall. The bass are slowing down, the trout are dwindling in numbers, and the hot topics revolve around anadromous beasts drawn only to the lures of the skilled. We're all a little on edge. We may be drinking too much. We are likely doing that. But the sea here is lumpy and mean. It makes people testy. It'll all calm down soon. Go throw the 28 sided die, pound a sixer of Racer Rye, and think about making good choices.

For every fifty n00bs asking if kayaking fishing is as totes cool as it seems, there's one Spidey offering gelatinous, salty, and organic awesomeness.  If you leave, my NWKA man lust will dwindle to one. And Lee only responds to a third of my Facebook "pokes." For god sakes, man, do it for Lee. He can stand no more poking.

Can we all agree that this has been a fun little exercies in determining the limits of what we'd like NWKA to be?  Sure, we've stepped over the line at times but if we didn't push the boundaries, we'd never know where they are.

Lets all learn the lesson, share a bro-hug and return to what we're so good at; Sharing the stoke of chasing fish from platforms that don't require motors.

You're one of my best homies of all time Terry. I was so stoked to see you pop up on NWKA and you posts hold the same stoke I first read back in '04. And like the boyz said, it ain't time to leave yet. You got way too many more stories of paddling awesomeness. You make a pedaler like me dream of paddling! Your yak shack is pretty much all our dreams and the site couldn't be the same without you. And the Jadester seems to like you too. And when he does you're kinda stuck.
