Just set up my pole to do some float fishing with eggs... as the hook swung back I realized it was looking for eggs that weren't meant to be on its needle sharp point.  A quick intake of breath and some calm words have me once again centered... oh, my... that was terrifying... lesson learned... don't play with your pole in the garage cause there is no telling what kind of junk you might hook.

Just a thin layer a gabardine... Actually just nylon... Let's just say I was expecting blood after the hook connected.

If a fish can take a hook, so can you.  It's only fair, right?  ;)

hmm....Depending on where it snagged, I might just push the hook through and replace with a stud....

Today I learned something new about Oly.  Didn't someone make a haiku about Cohos biting anything shiny?  I digress.  Get back behind the Fatyakker keyboard man; I miss your posts!
