There is a hole already in the end of the trough that you can attach an extension to.  I'll need to do that for Puget Sound ling cod due to the 26-36" slot limit.  If you do that you have a shorter trough for when you're not fishing for sturgeon and can just attach the extension for the those times when you are.

I agree with Allen, get 2. A flopper busted mine like it was a saltine cracker.

How do you get one? I got a second kayak coming so I can fish with my buddies. Might as well have one more Hawg Trough

Not to reduce sales, but I was in a C&R tournament that had troughs made from vertical blind slats with ruler stickers on them. Just a suggestion for customizing the length.
